Research shows chatbot technology gives us a means to deliver large-scale accessible mental health support at low costs. These chatbot-based methods still face problems achieving good outcomes while remaining empathetic and following proven healthcare practices. Our study shows ways to improve chatbot therapy through personalized adjustment, emotional awareness technology, therapeutic framework integration, security practices and multi-format delivery. Our solution uses machine learning along with natural language processing (NLP) and practices that focus on users' needs. Experimental data shows the benefits of chatbots by helping users connect emotionally and recover better alongside standard mental healthcare. Our future research will design systems to better fit individual users while adapting to different cultures and help people during emergencies
